Personal Information, Deposit, Payment and Cancellation Policy
*Your personal information, along with all deposits & payments for accommodation
will be processed by Tremblant Sunstar, who will carry out your reservation
and take payment in accordance with the policies set out below.
*Your credit card statement will show the charges coming from Tremblant Sunstar.
Rental Age Restrictions
Tremblant Sunstar requires that the responsible guest of the reservation be
a minimum of 18 years or older and be present for the entire stay (Lac Forget
the minimum age is 25 years old). This guest is required to provide the following
upon check-in: a valid ID as proof of identification; a valid credit card imprint
as a security deposit upon check-in; sign a registration card for the condo
rented; and, take responsibility for all of the guest's activity vouchers.
Security Deposit
The amount of the security deposit is determined by the number of bedrooms in
the condo. The deposit is $1000 for a one bedroom, plus $500 per additional
bedroom (ex: 2 bedrooms $1500, 3 bedrooms $2000). A security deposit is required
for each condo. This amount will be charged either upon check-in or just before
the arrival date on the credit card that Tremblant has on file.
The guest accepts the responsibility for any damage resulting from: all missing
inventory, telephone charges, damages to the property, lost keys, unreasonable
housekeeping conditions, unreasonable neighborhood annoyances (including any
complaint resulting from any noise or other disturbance) and contraventions
of any rules and regulations of the property, and any other charges required
to return the condo to its original state. The guest authorizes Tremblant Sunstar
to charge the costs of any such damage and any incidentals incurred during their
stay on the credit card we have on file.
Payment Policy
Tremblant Sunstar does not accept payment by check or money order. Only Visa
and MasterCard are accepted. Debit cards are accepted at the front desk only.
Summer Season (May 1st 2010 to November 14th 2010)
- A deposit of one night lodging plus tax (average nightly rate per reservation)
is due upon booking.
- The balance will be taken 3 days prior to arrival.
- For cancellations or change of dates made 8 days or more prior to arrival,
there is no penalty.
- For cancellations or change of dates made between 7 and 4 days prior to arrival
day, 50% of the value of the stay with taxes included will be forfeited.
- For cancellations or changes of dates made 3 days or less prior to arrival
or for no-shows the full amount of the stay will be forfeited.
- There is no refund if the customer cancels part of or the whole reservation
during their stay.
- For reservations under the Summer Getaway 20% off promotion, your reservation
must be made at least 10 days prior to arrival date, please note the total amount
of the reservation must be prepaid at the time of booking . Please be advised
that these reservations are non-refundable.
Winter Season (November
15th 2010 to April 30th 2011)
- A deposit of one night lodging plus tax (average nightly rate per reservation)
is due upon booking.
- The balance will be taken 7 days prior to arrival.
- For cancellations or change of dates made 14 days or more prior to arrival,
there is no penalty.
- For cancellations or change of dates made between 13 and 8 days prior to arrival,
50% of the value of the stay with taxes included will be forfeited.
- For cancellations or change of dates made between 7 days or less prior to
arrival or if there is a no-show, the full amount of the stay will be forfeited.
- There is no refund if the customer cancels part of or the whole reservation
during their stay.
Holiday Season ( Dec. 10 to 12/10, Dec 19/10 to Jan 03/11 & Feb 18 to 27/11
& March 12 to 20/11 )
- These policies apply to reservations that have at least one night included
in the Holiday's dates. (Ex: a reservation from December 18 to 22 would be considered
during the Holiday Season)
- A deposit of one night lodging plus tax (average nightly rate per reservation)
is due upon booking.
- The balance will be taken 30 days prior to arrival.
- For cancellations or change of dates made 30 days or more prior to arrival,
there is no penalty.
- For cancellations or change of dates made between 15 days and 29 days prior
to arrival, 50% of the value of the stay with taxes included will be forfeited.
- For cancellations or change of dates made 14 days or less prior to arrival
or if there is a no-show, the total cost of the reservation will be forfeited.
Change of Unit and Modifications:
- For a change of unit, the same cancellation and modification policy is applied
- No shows are regarded as a cancellation and the property will retain the original
deposit and processing fee.
- No refunds are given if all or any part of reservation is cancelled during
the stay.
Travel insurance and cancellation:
We recommend you take private travel insurance in case of sickness before your
stay. The cancellation policy, change of date's policy, and modification policy
apply to all reasons for cancellation. This includes cancellations due to reasons
of sickness, accidents or death.
Maximum occupancy
Each residence can accommodate a specified number of guests. Upon reservation
it is mandatory to give the exact number of guests that will be staying in the
unit. Guests should notified Tremblant Sunstar of any increase in the size of
their party. Upon arrival you should fill the registration card with the names
and ages of each member in your party. Tremblant Sunstar reserves the right
to refuse or discontinue service to any guests not respecting this policy. Each
unit has a maximum occupancy that is not to be exceeded. A $ 200.00 penalty
fee per guest per day will be applied if the number of guests exceeds the unit's
maximum occupancy (adults + children).
Limit of Liability
Tremblant Sunstar acts as rental manager for property owners and accepts no
liability on their behalf. Tremblant Sunstar reserves the right to transfer
guests to an equivalent property at its discretion, if the condo reserved becomes
unavailable. This transfer can be done without any notice. Tremblant Sunstar
cannot be held responsible for temporary interruptions of the following: electricity,
telephone, water, cable service, common area hot tub / pool, ski in / ski out
trail and ski slopes, or any other unforeseen situation outside of Tremblant
Sunstar's control.
Pets
Please note Pets are strictly forbidden during your stay in the condos of the
following complexes: CHALUMEAU 1, PLATEAU, BORÉALIS, ÉTOILE DU
MATIN , ÉQUINOXE, ALTITUDE, PANACHE, BOISÉ, ÉRABLIÈRE
1 ET 2. Should you not respect this policy; a $ 500 fine will automatically
apply. The $ 500 fine will be charged to the credit card we have on file for
your
reservation.
Pets are allowed during your stay in the condos of the following complexes with
certain restrictions: MANOIR, CHALUMEAU 2, HAUT-BOIS (except 193-2), CLAIRIÈRE
1 & 2, FALAISE (except 138-9), TREMBLANT LES EAUX, ROCHER-SOLEIL.
The following restrictions are:
" 1 pet under 25 lbs.
or 12 Kg per unit.
" Your dog is not allowed on the furniture.
" At any time your dog should not bark, bite or disturb other guests, please
use a muzzle if necessary.
" At any time your dog should not be left alone in the condo or outside.
" At any time your dog should be kept on a leash while outside.
" Your dog is not allowed on any landscapes or nearby pools and Spas.
" You must pick up after your pet.
" A pet fee of 85$ plus taxes will be applied once for the duration of
your stay.
" If damages exceed the security deposit, you will be responsible to pay
the extra fees.
" The Protection Program does not apply for any damages caused by your
pet.
Smoking
All units are non-smoking. Smoking penalty is $500.00. The fine will be charged
to the credit card we have on file for your reservation.
Baby Equipment Rental
High chairs, cribs, playpens, and other baby equipment are available through
a service called Baby Rendez-vous. They can be reached at 514-667-5883 or by
visiting their website at www.babyrendezvous.com.
Check-In and Check-Out Times
-Check-in starts at 5:00pm. Please advise the front desk if you plan on arriving
after 11pm.
-Check-out is at maximum 11:00am.
Early arrival and late check out:
- All early arrivals and late check outs should be authorized by the front desk.
The fee bellow will apply:
- Early arrival between 3:00 pm and 5:00 pm: No fee if the unit is ready.
- Early arrival before 3:00 pm: 50% of a nightly rental.
- Check-out between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm: 50% of nightly rental
- Check-out after 4:00 pm: 100% of nightly rental
- Any unauthorized late
check outs will incur a fee that is equivalent to 100% of a nightly rental.
Return keys upon departure:
-Keys must be deposited at the front desk upon check-out. A charge of $75 per
set of keys will be applied for any lost or stolen keys (including plastic keys).

Our reception is located under the Clock Tower on Chemin des Voyageurs, at the
resort entrance. Temporary parking is available while you are checking in. For

Taxes
Taxes applied are: 5% TPS (GST); 7.5% TVQ (QST); and the Tremblant Resort Association
Royalty tax of 3% (the royalty tax of 3% only applies to on-site locations;
off-site locations room charge includes a lodging tax of $2 per overnight stay).
Housekeeping
All private condominiums and private chalets are supplied with fresh towels,
linen and soap for your arrival. All kitchens are fully equipped with appliances,
dishes, pots and pans, and cleaning products that you should use for maintenance.
A full cleaning service is included with any stay of 8 days and more. Additional
cleaning services are also available and may be purchased for an additional
fee. Please make your housekeeping arrangements by speaking with the front desk
staff upon arrival or by calling ahead.
Starter Kit
A starter kit of basic supplies is provided to accommodate guests at the beginning
of their stay. These products are not replenished during the stay, but additional
products are available for purchase.
The Starter Kit consists of:
- 1 Bottle of dishwashing soap
- 1 Bottle of dishwasher soap
- 1 Bar of soap per bathroom - 2 Rolls of toilet paper per bathroom
- 2 White garbage bags - 2 Black garbage bags
- 1 Small box of laundry detergent
- 1 coffee and tea kit for your first morning - Coffee filters are always provided
- 1 Set of towels per person, (includes 1 face cloth, 1 hand cloth, and 1 large
towel)
- 1 Hide-a-bed kit for all units that have a pullout couch
- 2 Artificial logs per stay (winter only)
Please note that all units
with a pullout couch have 2 pillows and an extra blanket in one of the unit
closets. All pullout couches are mainly for children usage.
Fireplace log
For ecological reasons and safety purposes, only artificial logs are permitted
in the fireplace. A penalty fee of $500 will be fined if other materials are
consumed in the fireplace. Two free logs are provided in the winter season.
Additional logs are available at the front desk for a fee.
Please note Étoile du Matin condos are equipped with natural gas fireplaces
and therefore no logs are required.
The usage of the fireplace is the responsibility of the guest. Fireplaces should
not be left without surveillance.

pools:
June 24, 2010 - September 1, 2010
The schedule can change following weather and maintenance program.
Tremblant Sunstar declines any responsibility for the pool and spa schedule
operation.
Parking
- Each condo has one parking space.
- Additional vehicles will be able to park at P1 (if there is a parking fee
due to an event, such as the Blues Festival, the guest will have to pay).
- Exceptions are: L'Équinoxe, La Clairière, Côté
Nord Chalets, Lac Forget Chalet, and La Panache which offer 2 parking spots
if the client is staying in a 2-bedroom unit or larger.
Tremblant Sunstar declined any responsibility for towed car fees due to the
guest not respecting the rules. (Valid parking permits and numbered unit space)
Tremblant Sunstar Piece of Mind Protection Program
This program is automatically added to the reservation. The object of this surety
ship is to cover the guest in the event of damage or loss within the condo of
the following: the movable goods owned by the owner and located in the rented
premises and also extended to the coating of surfaces (tapestry, paint, and
ceramics), the carpets and floors.
The surety ship is up to $ 1000.00

You are required to report damages to the front desk as soon as the damage occurs
so that we can evaluate if the Peace of Mind Program applies. Any damage found
after the check-out and not properly reported by the guest will not be covered
under the Peace of Mind Program.
This program does not cover intentional damage, negligence, carelessness or
damages caused by animals.
*** Taxes are included in the above prices. Guests may choose to decline the
Peace of Mind Protection by sending a fax or an email to Reservations or in
person upon check-in.
