Mont Tremblant Resort is known for its skiing and winter activities, but summertime offers just as many things to do with your family.
This post is the first of a series of posts on all of the exciting activities to do in and around Tremblant Resort during the summer. This first post will focus on family-friendly activities, while future posts will have a range of summer activity themes.
Activities are available for all ages in Tremblant to keep you on your feet all day and night, or you can spend some of your day relaxing in the fresh mountain air.
Start out by buying an activity card to get the best rates for three to 10 visits to any of the 14 family-friendly activities. Then you are set to visit adventures that will keep your kids busy having fun.
Activities range from kid-designed camp to adult-only watersports with lots of outdoor fun to experience together.
You can spend everyday in the water swimming, or enjoy the sun on the sandy beach. For families that want a little more excitement, there are plenty of competitive and noncompetitive sports to participate in. Children will love the Climbing Tower, Akropark and Captain’s Harbour, and will have no trouble sleeping after a day of activities. For a change of pace, take the family to see the Birds of Prey Show and Circuit Mont-Tremblant, and spend the day observing what the area has to offer.
The Akropark in Tremblant, designed for kids up to age 17, is a suspended rope structure that runs 30 feet long by 15 feet wide. Children can move along the structure 20 feet above the ground through log bridges, monkey bridge, fish net and suspended ropes.
Beach and Tennis Club Mont Tremblant
Spend hours each day at the Tremblant Beach and Tennis Club and enjoy the views while swimming in the lake or sunbathing on the beach. When you are ready to get up and move around, you have a choice of beach volleyball, tennis and boating to keep you busy. You can bring your bathing suits and beach gear with you and change in guest changing rooms. After swimming, shower and enjoy a snack and drink at the snack bar and relax or shop at the tennis boutique.
Birds of Prey Show at Tremblant Resort
Learn about these unique raptors with Falcon Environmental Services. Your kids will love seeing the birds in flight and up close while marveling at their wingspan. The summit of the Laurentians is the beautiful backdrop to watch them fly right over your heads.
Captain’s Harbour is a delight for young families. You can rent miniature Mississippi River boats and children can captain the motorized boats through the water. Designed for ages 7 and younger and an accompanying adult, this activity is one not to miss.
Centre Nautique Pierre Plouffe
Near the Beach and Tennis Club on Lac Tremblant, Centre Nautique Pierre Plouffe offers exciting activities including water skiing, catamaran, kayaking, sailboarding and wakeboarding as well as other water activities. If you want to spend a day on the water, your children ages 7 to 13 can enjoy Supernautique Watersport Day Camp while you are gone.
Enjoy a day away from the beach and watch incredible motorsports on one of the finest car racing venues in North America. Kids and adults will have fun at the track watching skilled drivers in action.
Climbing Tower in Tremblant
Kids and adults can have fun climbing this adventurous tower. Beginners and advanced students of this sport are welcome to try their skills on the 30-foot challenge. Don’t worry about equipment. All the safety equipment is available on-site for you to use while climbing.
Club de Course en Sentier Salomon
No need to worry about eating too much while at Mont Tremblant. You can burn off the calories by joining the trail running club. Running aficionados can join in running trails twice a week with a group of like-minded people. This club is a great way to meet other visitors and learn some new skills while getting in your workout. Guides lead you on a 4- to 8-kilometer trail on the mountain.
Enjoy safe bungee jumping, all of the thrill without any risk at all. Kids and adults can try their hand at this thrilling activity without any worry. Safety gear is available at the site. You will feel as if you are flying, and can practice your aerial maneuvers.
