Mont Tremblant Lodging – Close to the Action

Most of the Mt Tremblant Lodging is close to the action of events and festivals. It’s always fun to be near the fun! Below is a list of activities you may want to try and schedule your Tremblant getaway around this year.

  1. The Tremblant 24 Hour skiing event is open to all levels of skiers and boarders and runs December 5-7 this year. Last year brought nearly 2000 participants to the mountain to take part in the largest fundraising event in our ski community. This relay challenge is an event for teams of 6 to 12 team members and is a festive weekend where everyone has a ball! Most importantly, however, this is a fundraiser for the benefit of children’s causes. Sunstar is beyond excited to not only be able to provide Mt Tremblant lodging for this event, but to be sponsoring a team of employees that are going to participate this year too!
  2. What better place to spend the holidays than in Mont Tremblant? The holiday season is always special in our little ski town and includes a multitude of events that are enjoyable for the entire family. With Sunstar providing Mt Tremblant lodging throughout the Tremblant area, it’s easy to choose a home base that’s close to all the holiday fun. The festivities begin December 20 and run through January 4th and include activities such as the Tremblant mascot Toufou the white tailed deer and the Grelot elves meandering about the village providing entertainment to all. On December 24th, Santa arrives in Tremblant to Place des Voyageurs with gifts and surprises for all the kids. December 24-25 holiday carolers will be strolling about the village spreading Christmas joy and singing holiday favorites.
  3. New Year’s Fun! Ring in the New Year with an event to remember and be sure to attend Magic on Snow. Watch as members of the Tremblant ski school make their way down the mountain in a spectacular torch light parade! You may even be able to see the show from some select Mt Tremblant lodging properties. The parade begins at 8 PM and runs to 9 PM. At 9 PM, the party moves and the famous Outdoor Nightclub party begins! Stay warm by dancing the night away at the most spectacular outdoor nightclub you have ever seen! At midnight, ring in the New Year with a fantastic Fireworks display. Happy New Year!
  4. Super Demo Day on January 3rd brings together the biggest names in the ski and snowboard industry to gather at the base of the South Side of the mountain and they bring along with them all the latest and greatest mountain sliding gear for you to try. If you try something you just can’t live without, you can take advantage of the great promotional deals that will be available. This is a great time to gear up for the ski season and try the newest technology to boot. Since most Mt Tremblant lodging from Sunstar has gear storage areas, you’ll have plenty of room to store your newly purchased loot.
